Jury Member of Organ Improvisation Competition Leipzig & Preview Concert Frauenkirche Dresden

Christoph Schönfelder is also committed to supporting young talent: in February 2025, he will join Prof. Thomas Lennartz, Konstantin Reymeier, Monica Melcova and Claus Fischeras a jury member for the Leipzig University of Music and Theatre's organ improvisation competition.

Before that, baroque and modern music will be united in Dresden's Frauenkirche on October 2, 2024: Christoph Schönfelder will perform works by Johann Sebastian Bach, Olivier Messiaen, Jean Guillou and Bruce Mather and will be around for a Q & A before the concert.

As a preview for future concerts to come: be excited for the Epiphany concert on January 5, 2025 in St. Gallen Cathedral: Olivier Messiaen's complete "La Nativité du Seigneur" will be performed.
